Velocitek Control Center 3.0 Beta
Overview
VCC 3.0 allows you to easily download GPS data from a group of Velocitek devices and organize the data into race replay animations. At the moment it is still a work in progress, but highly functional nonetheless. We are releasing new betas at approximately three week intervals.
Latest Release: VCC 3.0 Beta 3 (July 23, 2008)
New Features:
- New approach to drawing replays gives better performance and allows the introduction of playback controls
- Neighbourhood, full and tail options added for tracks
- Background maps downloaded from Virtual Earth
- Adding of large tracks should no longer lock up the application, all loading of files is done on background threads
- Replay tab added to library, renaming and opening of replays supported
- Deleting multiple tracks or replays prompts you once rather than for each
- Installer adds a shortcut to the desktop
- Error dialog includes a copy details to clipboard button
- Download dialogs made wider
Known Issues:
- Virtual Earth backgrounds may not be exactly lined up for all locations on Earth
- Changing metadata on tracks and replays does not update in the datagrid until you restart the application
