Hello,
I am a happy owner of Speedpuck and I am thinking of upgrading to Prostart. Until now I have been using Speedpuck as a data logger during racing...
Is it possible to set a mode without gps data for racing in FD class? It would be great to use it instead of a racemaster and record a track in the background... Only heading, lifts and headers are allowed in Flying Dutchman class...
Regards,
Luka

Hi Luka,
Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the distance to line and speed features on the ProStart. What you can do is cover the bottom half of your ProStart, where the distance to line and speed are displayed, with opaque tape. This makes the device class legal by leaving only the top half of the display visible, where the heading and lifts and headers are displayed.

Max
