I recently bought a second hand prostart which has been performing perfectly, however a month ago i noticed condensation appearing behind the glass/perspex. I tried leaving it out in the sun with the battery cover off but thats all, and no luck. I've been using it since and it continues to function well but i'd love to service it properly. I'm happy to try this myself if it is not a warranty issue. Has this happened to anyone else? I'd appreciate any advice.

Hi Robw,

I recommend that you remove the lid of the battery compartment, open the USB port, and put the device in a bag of rice for 3-5 days. If that doesn't work, get back to me and I can provide you with a more invasive solution. Also, for future reference, you can prevent water leakage by coating the gasket of the battery compartment with a layer of silicone grease.

Best regards,
